The reconditioned unit came in like-new condition, and I couldn't be happier with its portability and function for the price. I use it for car washing, mildew removal, and porch cleaning. The long cord and 25' wand hose are ++. The wand hose is relatively stiff and tough to loop as tight as the product picture for storage, but it can be looped and stored without removing the wand hose connections with a little care. The pump is high quality and handles relatively low water inflow pressure well. It is not the most powerful unit around, but I wasn't looking for something to knock off a wasp nest at 50' height. This comes with three nozzles, a 15 degree, a 45 degree 100 psi, and turbo (zero degree circular pattern) sprayer. The low pressure nozzle is useful for watering plants and for use in spraying soap on cars, but that's about it. The 15 degree is the workhorse nozzle. The turbo nozzle is way less useful for me, and I got an extra zero degree fixed nozzle shortly afterward. If I can get a 5 degree nozzle, I'm going to toss the turbo nozzle into the spare parts bin. Finally, be aware that the soap tank is intended to be paired up with the low pressure nozzle and you can lather up two cars for each tank fill. If you use the high pressure nozzles for soap application, you'll empty the soap tank really quickly. It's not as fast or powerful as a commercial car washer, but I'll spend the extra few minutes and use my quarters for other things.

Wow, serious disappointment. I've bought many factory reconditioned items and have always found them a good alternative. But, sports fans, my item looks pretty much like they took someone's used pressure washer, attached a tag to it, and slapped it into a generic box. Stickers on said box attest that it was "Inspected by 251357," but who ever he or she is, they totally mailed it in on my unit. It's dirty overall, with the knob and some parts of the housing stained and the pressure hose has fifty white splotches on it, begging the question of how hard would it be to have run a damp rag along its length. You getting the idea? Not the slightest bit of care was taken to make this item look anything vaguely resembling "certified refurbished."

The very worst annoyance is that the power cord is hopelessly kinked, tangled and knotted. Imagine a set of 12-gauge Christmas lights given to a seven-year-old with instructions to "mess them up as best you can." I was going to include a picture of it for the humor of it all, but why beat the proverbial dead horse?.

I'm going to guess that another purchaser on another day, especially one not cursed with the dreaded Inspector 251357 (though I don't think they really have over 200,000 inspectors, do you?) will get a nicer unit, maybe even a nice unit. Mine, however, was a downer.

I added a star because I assume it works. I didn't check. It's cold and damp here, and besides, I didn't have enough free time to unknot the cord. Not sending it back, though. I've got me a rag and some cleaner and I'm gonna make it sparkle. Make it a tiny pressure washer to be proud of.

Less pressure and leaky soap tank

Bought this unit last year and did not get chance to use it till last week. I knew that unit was refurbished and would be brought up to standards but quickly found out that soap tank is leaking after I left liquid in the tank overnight. It's been over a year and I don't want to go through hassle of returning the unit even if I can. If you buy refurb'ed unit do check right away because claims on brining units to spec are not credible.

Another issue for me was PSI pressure. I had used another 1600 PSI washer and thought it was more than strong and actually ripping off concrete chips from driveway. This washer on the other hand did not have enough pressure to clean properly. I had to get nozzle very close to the concrete to clean dirt and oil on the driveway. I ended up using another washer borrowed from friend - it's BlackMax 1800 PSI from Sam's club for 99 bucks. It worked very well and was pleasure to use it.

I do like compactness of this washer as opposed to BlackMax or other brands, but wish that it could a little more than what it does for simple cleaning tasks.

Totally unbelievable the way this little thing works. I bought it just to see how effective it was and am more than satisfied with it. I cleaned the patio furniture in 1/3 the time I normally took and it was remarkably cleaner than when I hand scrubbed it. The shutters came cleaner than they have been since new. Shutters that need painting can be stripped with the turbo tip and will save me numerous hours with the wire brush and drill. It isn't something I would advise to try cleaning the whole exterior with but is more than adequate for localized clean up of dirty eaves, garage floors, mildewed bricks, ETC.

Definitely plenty of scuffs, scratches, and signs of wear. But works fine, so can't complain about that. Not very powerful compared to other electric power washers and very noisy. Compact design is nice however, nothing to tip over. I'm using it purely to wash our cars with a 25 and 35 degree spray head.

Very please with it for my occasional use. Small, compact, easy to use. The only problem I had - it comes with two nozzles, a broad and narrow pattern. They suggest using the broad pattern for house siding, not strong enough. The narrow pattern does fine. Also use it on part of my deck. Did great.

It works really well for what it is. I bought it to spray some gunk off of a transmission and transfer case. It did pretty well but wasn't able to get it all off. I'd recommend getting something with a higher pressure if you do that for a living.

I bought one of the refurbished units. It arrived dirty but that was not unexpected. However, there were some rust in the connecting areas. Unit had small leaks, and very little pressure. In fact, the pressure from my garden hose connecting to it was higher than it produced. I do not know who did the refurbishing and what that really entails, but this unit should not have been shipped out like this. CPO outlet was very good about sending a return shipping label. I am waiting for the credit to be applied. I have read many good reviews about this unit, I will try to buy a new one!
