First I bought new washers and o-rings to swap out the old crusted ones. Second I had to buy the garden hose adapter (neighbor may have still had it, but threw it away after they realized it was meant for this pressure washer). Third I had to buy was a replacement spray nozzle, and the Vario works great! Same inlet as the old one, and the spray (though hard to see in the picture) is MUCH more powerful than the older nozzle. There could have been something blocking the old nozzle from reaching full power, but just decided to get a replacement because the older one was also cracked at the tip.
Only downside I see about the wand (more towards the Karcher brand) is it's a proprietary attaching design. I've seen a lot more brands and accessories for other pressure washers use a more standard sizes quick disconnect. Not a big deal for me right now since I was able to find the replacement parts here on Amazon (especially since the pressure washer was free, all I've spent so far was around $50 for the replacement parts).
This is actually my very first pressure washer, and now I can't ever imagine how much time I can save with cleaning muck on the concrete, home windows/walls, and the cars! Probably the last piece to buy now is a car soap snow sprayer so I can start getting my cars washed up faster!

Since then I have now replaced the adjustable wand for the second time. When the first device broke (2013), I took it apart and found the PLASTIC internal nozzle had cracked. Tried a "super glue". Broke again almost immediately. Tried an epoxy and that didn't hold either.
My neighbor also has a Karcher (older model) that has broken down for him at least twice.
Really beginning to wonder about "Karcher Quality".
