For the record I am 72 years young. Like others have said it can be a workout but once you use it for a while you figure out the best way to handle it. I had ignored my gutters for a year and I am surrounded by pines and oaks. Needless to say it was pretty compacted. After getting through that I no longer ignore them since this makes it easy, so to speak to do. i use it with a HF pressure washer.
Tips:
1: Wear safety glasses and a hat as leaf and water blowback will get to you sooner or later and you will get wet.
2: Some may prefer to get a harness to help offset the weight.
3: I use this with the addition of one of those 2 direction gutter attachments that work well for this job.
Like this one: https://www.amazon.com/RIDGE-WASHER-Attachment-Pressure-Disconnect/dp/B0892BP85F/ref=sr_1_4?crid=2ZJD28IY6QLTA&keywords;=gutter+cleaner+attachment&qid;=1663167249&sprefix;=gutter+cleaner+attachment%2Caps%2C246&sr;=8-4
4: A trick is using hydraulic principles to speed things up. Turn on the pressure and let it fill the gutter for a bit then rapidly trigger the wand on and off. The short blasts will use the water volume as a battering ram and blow stuck junk out of the gutter.
5: You will leave a mess on the outside of the gutters. Remove the gutter attachment and plug in one of the nozzles that came with you washer. Easy blast that stuff right off.
6: While it is hooked up I have used it to blast away the crud that winds up on the driveway and deck.
FWIW the washer itself does a better and faster job of blowing leaves off the driveway than the usual air blower.
Also for blowing junk out of shrubbery.
7: As noted elsewhere it is good for house cleaning on tall sections.
Have fun and stay dry.
For those that complain about it getting away from them> IF you use the curved piece and a single nozzle, YES it will beat you up. The single nozzle works for the down spouts but you want to kind of hang it with some down pressure on the edge of the gutter. IF you want to clean the gutters and have control get the attachment mentioned earlier in this review. No stress with it.
The equipment make is appropriate to duty, anything to make it more robust would add to the weight and nobody wants that.
It works as you would expect and performs equal to a standard pressure washer wand with a given nozzle.
There's many complaints about controlling it, but that's all up to the operator.
I am a 42 year old 5'6" male, 200lbs, stockier than most, but it's natural, I don't work out. But I started working on farms when I was 10, I'm not afraid of work, and temporary pain or discomfort don't prevent me from finishing a job. If you're a city kid who doesn't know what manual labor is, a millennial, or just somebody who is averse to working to save some money, don't purchase.
My pressure washer is 2800 psi. I used a 15 deg nozzle on the end. At full extension it's a handful. You have to use your head and understand a few things.
First, when you pull the trigger the water exiting the nozzle is going to force it back, if you fight it or start trying to control it too soon it's going to whip around. Hold it firm, let it kick and then it will settle.
The jet force that is pushing the wand back will increase the closer the nozzle gets to the object being washed. Trying to force it too close and it will kick back, making the jet force decrease, which makes it go back towards the object, which increases the jet force and makes it kick back. Rinse, lather, repeat. If that's happening you're trying to get the nozzle too close. Back away or switch to a larger angle nozzle to decrease the jet force.
Second, balancing a stick straight in the air is easy, you only hold the weight. When you tilt a stick you introduce a moment force that makes it feel heavier. The further you tilt it the heavier it will feel. This wand is the same, both when you initially position it, and as you operate it. If you're smart, you can find a balance point/angle/distance that makes the jet force kicking back balance the moment force trying to swing it down. Then you only hold the weight, which is still tiring, but manageable.
But what all of that means is that you really don't have a wide range of motion with it before it becomes too heavy or uncontrollable. You can only work about a 2' square before either needing to step over or bringing the wand down and changing the length. This adds time to the job. Just set your expectations. It will not operate like the small wand that comes with the washer.
Also, to help your decision - it's difficult to see exactly where the nozzle is washing. The angle that I found to hold it at put me semi close to my house. Often the sun would be in my eyes as I'm looking up 2+ stories, also I wear glasses which is impossible as a good amount of the water is raining on you. Somebody else might have a better experience in this regard.

Firstly I could not unscrew the 3/8” quick connect male nipple at in-let of the lance. I needed to change the nipple to connect the lance to my Karcher pressure washer. I sent an e-mail to the manufacture, because the entire assembly unscrewed from the interior of the pistol of the lance. I got a reply back to contact Alex Jannatpour of customer service, A.R. North America Inc. I contacted him and he gave me 5 star service. He was very helpful. After talking with him, the problem was some type of adhesive had been used on the threads of the nipple. This part (quick connect 3/8” male nipple) is supposed to be removable, if needed. Alex told me, I needed to heat up the male nipple and then try unscrewing it and if this did not work I would have to send back the lance. I put the entire assembly in boiling water for 15 minutes and quickly put the assembly in a vice and tried unscrewing the nipple using a socket wrench. After considerable force, I was able to unscrew it. The male nipple should not have adhesive applied to the threads since this part is supposed to be changeable by the user. Teflon tape should be used on nipple threads.
The next problem was, I could not fully extend the lance 18 feet. I finally figured out the problem was the black cable ties used to hold the black hose during shipping needed to be removed. This information (remove cable ties before using lance) should be in the instructions sent with the lance.
The next problem is when the lance is extended 12 feet or more it is difficult for 1 person to control. You really need the lance hardness/belt which is available on Amazon.ca. But it is not easy to find. If you do not order the hardness/belt, you will need 2 people to use the lance. I will order the hardness/belt next year.
Lastly, you need to order the ¼”quick connect nozzles with the lance. The lance itself does not have any nozzles. The ¼”nozzles are available on amazon.ca and color coded to suit a specific cleaning application.

Under pressure, fully extended (as you will need to reach a second storey eaves trough), the wand whips around like a snake - it bends to at least 60 degrees. And as soon as you let the pressure go, it whips right back up to 90. It is strong enough to break a window. If your arms are strong enough, you might be able to hold it in place for a minute or two, but most people will not be able to do so.
Sorry that I can’t recommend this product. It actually seems very dangerous to me.
