This fit our old AR Blue Clean 142 pressure washer. It was easy to hook up and has been working fine. The new sprayer that comes with this kit might even be slightly more effective than our old one, but it's hard to be sure. The only problem with the kit is that the handle of the spray gun is slightly bigger/thicker than our old trigger spray gun. As I have small hands, it's a little more tiring for me to use it, but not terrible.

We got this kit because the hose for our pressure washer had sprung a leak. We'd at first tried to fix it (hose clamps, duct tape), but apparently when a hose fails--it fails! New leaks sprouted. There was no saving that hose.

We had at first looked for only a replacement hose, but didn't see any. However, I'm glad we didn't get only a hose because the connection piece on the new hose doesn't fit the spray gun that came with our original unit. I assume that they've made improvements since we first bought ours. The new connector is slightly bigger. It then made sense that they sold the replacement hose as a kit with a new sprayer. The kit came disassembled, but the new hose fit the new spray gun just fine--and the kit comes with an additional spray gun with a rotary tip that we haven't tried yet. Aside from saving money by not needing to buy a new pressure washer, I like that we weren't forced to throw away a working unit just because of a leak in a hose. They don't sell this old 142 model any more and we've been happy with it. I think we'd originally gotten it around 8-10 years ago. We use it often. It's lightweight and powerful enough to get things clean, but not so powerful that we damage anything.

AR makes a very good pressure washer. I like our AR Blue Clean 142 much better than the Campbell and Hausfeld one we had previously. When this unit fails, I'll give AR another try.

So i didnt use this product right away as it was a replacement for an older AR machine. I had just bought a new AR but the old machine worked fine, just needed a new gun/hose and this was that replacement. This hose blew after a few hours of use. It blew under the thick rubber protector near the fitting on the machine end. I couldnt return to Amazon as it had been to long. So i contacted AR North America about it. It was some of the best customer service i have had this century. It was easy to get a replacement part. They had no problem warranting their product. Response time was very quick and the process was about as easy as Amazon. If i was being super picky, i would say it took 2.5 weeks for the replacement to arrive.

Despite the failure of the part, the fact that their customer service is so good means they still get five stars from me. Also i own two AR power washers. One was bought a few years ago and the other bought last summer. I have had no other part failures with them and i run one of the power washers to death. This kit replaced a hose which i kinked but it still worked fine and a gun that was leaking that was no doubt due mostly to banging it around/dropping it. So the hose blow out is very much a surprise.

I have a Husky 1750 from the year 2004 and the handle broke. The hose is integrated into the handle so I couldn't just replace the handle. It fit perfectly into my machine even without any of the provided adapters. My first use of it was to power wash my 400 square foot deck. It worked amazing and I loved the fact that while holding the trigger I was able to rotate the spray by 45 degrees which I wasn't able to do with the original handle. I haven't tried the soap dispenser thing but I'm sure it works great. The hose is even double in length my original which came in super handy also.

These ultimately did what it’s advertised to do and replaced my old leaking hose. This is one of the most complete packages online, and includes everything you need to start using your pressure washer again.

However, there are some things that I don’t like about it:
1) the locking mechanism for connecting the spraying wands to the main body is terrible. You have to press it in and turn. The connection is not very secure and will fall out occasionally
2) you cannot use third party spray tips to change the pattern of the spray. The included one works, but is a variable adjustment that requires you to twist the tip, which is dangerous if your hand slips onto the stream.

Trash.

They modified the pressure hose to have replaceable ends (good!), but I found the unit end bottomed out too deep to get a good seal and it leaks like crazy with my three year old AR Blue Clean.

The gun end seems to seal fine.

I assembled the lance into the gun, but it doesn't seem to fit together properly either (insert, push and twist; not difficult) and pulling the trigger gushes water out the end of the gun, not the end of the lance.

Done with this product.
