This thing is cheap, so obviously it's not going to be flawless. It works for its intended purpose, mix your soap in the little container and it will spray foam on your car. You have to premix water with your soap because it won't do it well enough on its own. I usually use the lines on the side to give it a 2:1 water:soap ratio, and it seems to work for me fine.

One downside are that the reservoir only really has enough for one car. Since I only have one car, this isn't a huge pain, but if you want to get your whole family's /fleet/ you'll have to refill a few times.

Another is that it has to stay upright to work properly. You have to hold it level in order to get the soap to despense right, or it'll just spray straight water and not mix anything, ruining your coverage if you're not careful.

As long as you hold it level and mix your soap properly, you get very even coverage and it definitely makes washing a car a more fun experience. If you're looking for something higher performance, look into getting a self contained foam lance, typically around $80.

The product itself seems pretty solid. It does produce a foam stream all over, but the thickness/density of the foam is nothing close to the pictures and videos you see. Not horrible, but not a thick layer either. Of course the soap has a huge impact, so I have been experimenting with various products. The typical car wash concentrates don't seem to be the best fit, so I'm hoping some of the products developed (at least in theory) for foam cannons will provide better results.

I only have my parents pressure washer to use which is a Karcher, and it has a proprietary nozzle fixture so other foam cannon can't connect and I need their specific one. This would be no problem if this has all the features of competitors which usually cost $20. Out of the gate this is pricier than it needs to be, and with less functionality.

My biggest complaint on this device is that you cannot adjust the proportion of foam/water that comes out, so after you spray your car you have 2 choices, take the bottle off the spray nozzle and spray the remaining soap in the little tube onto your car until water comes out (very weak I might add), and attempt to rinse off the soap -or- you disconnect the hose from your pressure washer, reattach another spray nozzle and rinse it off which gets old very quick as you can imagine.

Additionally the container for soap is significantly smaller than competitors' products. I went to wash my car and my mom's and even watering down the soap I still had to refill it multiple times in order to fully coat the cars.

In conclusion, if I had another pressure washer with a universal connector I 100% would be much happier with any other nozzle, but I don't so my options were buy a whole new machine for over $150 simply to use the nozzle I actually want. Way to go Karcher, you've twisted my arm into buying your less than exceptional nozzle....

So, having bought a new karcher K7.540, with onboard detergent dispenser, and being a little underwhelmed with the foam from that, I thought I'd give this a try; hardly expensive, after all.

It's about 39 times better!

While it may not quite throw out the gloopy foam you'd get at a car wash (though this is more likely a function of the detergent I was using), it's pretty close.

If you intend to buy a karcher pressure washer mainly for washing your vehicle, don't bother paying the extra for the detergent dispenser on the washer, get this and a cheaper karcher pw.

Jet off the worst of the road grime, attach this, and foam it up. Then use a brush(I would just buy a normal car brush, not one to attach to the pressure washer itself, as it's easier to manage) to work it in and work off the rest of the crud, before changing back to the normal lance to rinse the vehicle off a couple of times. Works a treat.

5* for value and effect. 4* because it drinks detergent like it's an alcohlic coming out of church and heading striaght to the bar.

I'd recommend the larger "Karcher 26431470 FJ6 Foamer Foam Nozzle" instead. This small foam cannon is really only suited to wash small cars. The volume of soap held in this foam cannon is barely enough to wash my A4. A larger car or SUV would be a no-go without refilling mid-wash. Otherwise, this foam cannon works fine every time. I've used it for about 2 years now.

Used it once. Saw some bad reviews but tried it anyway. I was happy. It sprayed a nice foam that covered my truck completely and stayed on for a few minutes. I did go through a lot of soap to complete the entire wash. Rinsed it off with the power washer and all the winter salt and dirt was gone. I didn't have to bucket at all. For me, great for winter washes to keep my hands out of the water and get me back in the house fast.

Amazing product. I use this with the Karcher K3 pressure washer!

Much better than the Caraid and it's soap dispenser. The suction hose allows me to use this strong pressure washer with the water source being directly from a bucket of water. Have no access to a garden hose at my apartment.

Figured out through trial and error it is best to have the bucket sitting on top of another bucket upside down so that the water source is slightly elevated helping suck the water towards the pressure washer for the first initial pressure build up for a few seconds. After that it's instant portable washing power provided you need just a good power source outlet.

I bought this great foam cannon attachment with some "Meguiars gold class car soap"

In love with this thing! Produces a really thick foam!

Although it eats up a lot of soap, need to refill twice to cover my vehicle, I do drive an SUV so it might be the size of the vehicle. A very effective foam nozzle however a small observation about the bottle provided for snow foam detergent is that it is too small.My solution to this is to use a 1 litre bottle supplied with many Karcher pressure washers.The plastic hose can be held in place along with the bottle which is no big deal.Some people may find the bottle supplied sufficient but moŕe is always better for me.
